the GAIR COLLECTIONS was founded by Nicola Harrison in 2018, who after having children, decided to put her corporate banking career behind her and try something a little more creative. She has been working on and building up the GAIR COLLECTIONS ever since and it is now a bustling little business. Nicola has a habit of effortlessly beautifying elements and spaces to make them more charming, appealing and functional. She adores creating attractive tablescapes and growing pretty blooms in her garden which are then placed in every corner of her home to enjoy.

S T O R Y  |  How we started 
After struggling to find unique artwork for her 2 daughters after they were born, Nicola decided to team up with her Artist mother Elizabeth to create a series of very special fine art prints. The result was the birth of the Children's Collection, which has a growing number of beautiful watercolour paintings that have been designed especially for little ones. The range has since grown to include a stunning Landscape and Still Life Collection of artworks. The name 'Gair' is a Family name and was chosen firstly because it is unique and secondly because there happens to be a long line of talented creatives in the extended Gair tribe.

 
R E S I D E N T   A R T I S T  |  Elizabeth Gair Palmer
Elizabeth Gair Palmer (EGP) is the resident artist for the GAIR COLLECTIONS and bases herself between Brisbane and Noosa creating beautiful still life and landscape paintings. Elizabeth predominately paints with oils but also uses gouache and watercolour, depending on the subject. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Fine Art and is represented by some amazing galleries throughout the country such as Red Hill Gallery in Qld as well as A.K. Bellinger Gallery in NSW.  She has held various solo exhibitions over the years and has been awarded numerous prizes. Feel free to have a look at some of her stunning works.
